Dear travelers… Welcome to Adriatic sea, on a beautiful Istrian peninsula and Kvarner where you will experience both green countryside and very sunny and blue seaside. My name is Ana and I am a licensed tour leader as well as tour guide for Istrian county, Plitvice lakes and Kvarner bay…where traveling with many of you all year long. Pula, Porec and Rovinj full day trip
Overview of your Pula tour
If you are short with time or you want to maximize your stay in Istra, this is a perfect tour for you. In just one day, we will visit 3 of the most famous Istria coastal gems - cities Pula and Porec, the two old Roman Colonies and our magical town of Rovinj the ruby of the Mediterranean. I have plenty of options to offer you throughout the tour in and between every spot. You can choose between local markets, little local souvenir shops, museums, boat rides, photo points, tower and castle views, restaurants, olive oil, wine tastings, sunsets…. Depending on your accommodation, we will start the tour around 9am and visit the three most known Istria gems. Please note, at times we will be walking over stone-paved streets which can be very slippery. As well, by the end of the tour we will pass 10-15km.
Your Pula tour itinerary
- In Pula, we plan to visit the Roman Amphitheatre and we will do the circle walk through old town to see the rest of rich and astonishing Pulas' history. - In Poreč, the tour includes a cosy walk through old Parentium placed on a little peninsula just 400m long and 200m wide. - Our aim is a must see site, the famous UNESCO protected Basilica of Euphrasius, a complex of early Christian architecture preserved and fully functional to present days (extra charge). We will need the proper attire to enter the holy places, which includes something to cover your shoulders, skirts that are not above the knees… - In Rovinj, our gem of the Mediterranean, we will have more demanding walk, - climbing old narrow stone streets up to the top of the hill where we will visit one of the largest Istrian churches, just to peak behind one of its altars to see what's kept in a marble sarcophagus.
