Hi! My name is Francisco, but everyone calls me Pancho. I was born and raised in Coyhaique, the capital of Chile’s Aysén Region, and I've spent most of my life exploring and sharing the magic of Patagonia with travelers from around the world. With over 17 years of experience as a guide, I specialize in classic sightseeing, trekking, and culturally immersive tours that dive deep into the soul of the Carretera Austral and Patagonia. My approach is always personal and friendly — I love creating one-on-one connections and offering more than just information: I share stories, traditions, and local insight. I’m trained in guiding, first aid, forest bathing, and local history. I speak fluent Spanish and English, ensuring clear communication and a meaningful experience for all my guests. If you're looking for an authentic journey through Patagonia with context, conversation, and a deep love for the land, I’d be honored to be your guide in Aysén. Let’s discover Patagonia together!

Let me guide you through the hidden heart of Patagonia, following the wild Simpson River, where waterfalls flow beside the road. Together we'll enter the Río Simpson National Reserve where we’ll enjoy an easy, enjoyable walk among forests and cliffs. But we'll go further than this. I also want to take you to the city where I was born and raised. Allow me to show you secret spots and stories that only locals like myself know, places I happened to explore as a child! Together, we’ll visit viewpoints, plazas, and corners of the city that hide the soul of Aysén.
-We'll first meet at Puerto Chacabuco, directly inside the disembarkation area. -We'll then start our journey following the scenic Simpson River, surrounded by mountains & waterfalls along the way. -Next, we'll stop at the Río Simpson National Reserve Visitor Center for a gentle walk through forested trails & rocky landscapes. Note: This stop may take place either on the way to Coyhaique or on the return, depending on daily conditions & timing. -We'll continue to Coyhaique, the capital of the Aysén region, where we'll explore the city center, including the Main Square & Cathedral as well as other hidden local spots. -We'll later make short stops at scenic viewpoints for photos of panoramic views. -At last, we'll return to Puerto Chacabuco, ensuring a timely arrival for cruise boarding.

Puerto Chacabuco, Aysén, Chile
I could meet you directly inside the port where your ship docks at Puerto Chacabuco. After disembarkation, just follow the designated passenger exit area—I’ll be waiting there with a sign displaying your name. I could also pick you up from a different location regardless.
