Hello I have been a traveler, a guide, and a travel designer since my student days in Ankara where I studied political science which, gave me a chance to travel to as many as 70 countries, mostly in the old world and South America. I conducted tours to destinations like India, China, South Africa, Chile, etc. I am a reader of the ancient and colonial history of the globe as well as anthropology and philosophy. I find myself lucky since having been born and raised in one of the most ancient countries of the world (Turkey); Then, having lived and guided in Vancouver, arguably, at one time, one of the remotest cities on earth until the railway arrived in 1887, now a leading exemplar metropolis of the 21 century; Finally, I have been enjoying a post-urban life, in serenity, in all-tranquil New Brunswick, where I consider Canada is in its utmost! In a sense, this is a closing of a circle for me. As a child, I was a physician's son in a village around which there was still a nomadic lifestyle that was yielding to peasantry rapidly. Later in the Metropolises of Turkey and Europe, I witnessed how the peasant lifestyle was being overtaken by urban life. As a middle-aged person, I observed what I call a "near atomized individual" in one of the major post-industrial magnets on the planet. Therefore, I have been enjoying the chance of gazing at various "human landscapes" or snapshots from different cross-sections of the greater social transformation of mankind. To me, Atlantic Canada is a perfect scene for an up-and-coming post epidemic cottage lifestyle for emergent new middle classes. Beautiful but not so busy, Great a place to grow up, great to retire, and great to take breaks from the ever-intensifying treadmill of the major cities. Let's explore together this unique, historic ocean country. All my tours can be customized upon request. - M.A. Degree in Ancient Politics - Bachelor's Degree in Political Science - Professional tour guide since 1991 - Experienced guide for Mediterranean and West Coast & The Rockies in Canada as well as the East Coast. - Memberships in Canadian Tour Guides Association and Chamber of Tour Guides in İstanbul. Fundy bay is known to host the highest tides in the whole world. The area was a premium attraction in the early 20th century for the sections of the society who could afford to travel. That nature has such an Immense physical power to change the landscape like this is truly unbelievable. Hopewell rocks and Fundy bay National Park together are a great combination that offers some great scenery and possible hiking opportunities over the bay. A superb but casual Atlantic seafood can be arranged at fishing hamlet Alma.
The itinerary is flexible and completely customizable. Depending on the starting point the sequence can be changed. If starting from Moncton, Hopewell Rocks can be visited twice to observe the spectacular change in scenery due to the tide. Suggested Itinerary: - Reversing Rapids if starting from Saint John. -Hopwell Rocks Provincial park. - Fundry bay National Park -Alma fishing village
