Overview of your Nanaimo tour
Pick up at 8am between Nanaimo and Qualicum Beach 2 waterfalls, as much or as little hiking as you would like, a delicious lunch, some old-growth 1000-year-old trees, which is also the set of a Star Wars movie, and an amazing wild animal sanctuary to finish the day! First, we visit the breathtaking Cathedral Grove before the crowds, featuring giant, towering trees, and take an amazing interpretive nature walk before enjoying lunch on the lakeshore. On to the North Island Wildlife sanctuary, where you can visit many owls, eagles, and even a black bear who have been taken into he center as their chances of survival in the wild are very slim. We will also make a stop at the turquoise cascading waters of the impressive Little Qualicum Falls. The Horseshoe Bend Canyon is such an impressive feature, and the mesmerizing shade of the water offers a beautiful path to follow for a 10-minute walk or a 30-minute hike. We will bring you back to your accommodation for a restful evening around 4pm.
