Overview of your Varna tour
Always feeling excited to take you on a tour along the Northern Black sea coast of Bulgaria. Starting from Varna, my birthplace, we tour north along the ''Silver coast'' of Bulgaria. Calling in Balchik, the ''white town'', we go for a walking tour of its Botanical Gardens and the Queen's palace. A real oasis, where the histories of two countries and one queen meet up! Admire the beautifully arranged terraces, presenting various flowers, alpine and aquatic vegetation, protected species, evergreen shrubs and the biggest attraction - its cacti collection. The gorgeous Kaliakra Cape is the second destination on the tour. A fascinating narrow cape, jutting into the sea, Kaliakra was an ancient settlement before. Today a nature reserve, Kaliakra is where history merge beautifully with the natural landscape. At the end of the tour an optional wine tasting at a local winery.
