It takes a short drive from Mostar heading to visit Blagaj with its Buna River spring, one of the strongest and the most beautiful river springs in Europe, at the foot of some 250 meters high cliffs, and 15th century dervish tekke (monastery). There you can learn how people lived in medieval time, what's their spiritual practice in tekke, also visiting a cave inside. After arriving to Kravice, you will have a full day to swim, sunbath or do whatever pleases you at this beautiful natural surrounding. Nearby the falls there are a lot of bars and grills where you will have a chance to enjoy a nice meal or a cold drink. You will have time to walk around and explore, time to chill and cool down. Visting Medugorje catholic pilgrimage place known for miraculous Virigin appereance Počitelj one of the rare stone hill places with towers and history to be told, even today you can meet people living there, having planted trees and fruits from this region. Having Sanjin share his beautiful Bosnia with our family was an amazing experience. Not only did we get to learn about the amazing and diverse history of the country, but we got to meet an amazing person and his friend. I would highly recommend seeing Bosnia through the eyes of someone who has lived through the history of the country. And a bonus was that Bosnia won their World Cup match right after our tour, so hopefully he got to enjoy that game!!
Our tour with Sanjin was great. He provided a lot of interesting information and local insight to our tour. He really took the time to ensure we were able to see everything.
