I am Esther, born and raised in Aruba. I worked 9 years as a first class flight attendant with KLM as well as running my own retail store for 30 years before I retired. I have traveled the world and I still believe that my island Aruba is a paradise incomparable to others. I absolutely love showing my home to visitors that come to visit this special place. We'll see all of the things you would see on an ordinary tour - they're certainly worthwhile. But I will also show you the special things that make Aruba special. We were in Aruba for a day on a cruise (March 2026) and wanted to make the most of that time, so we used Tours By Locals as we have many times before. Esther picked us up on time in her beautiful and comfortable SUV. She drove us to all sides of her island and told us about the history, the culture, the geography and the people. And we learned quite a bit about Esther’s life growing up on Aruba. Esther is friendly and informative and has a great sense of humor! We felt very safe in her hands, and in her car. Hopefully we will return to Aruba in the future and use Esther to show us even more of her island. Highly recommended! A+++
Ester is a great tour guide. She showed us around the island and explained the history of Aruba. He enjoyed seeing the main attractions and a few hidden gems.

Our day and the time we start the tour is FLEXIBLE and is meant to accommodate YOUR schedule and interests. Typically we will visit the Aloe Vera museum, California light house. Alto Vista Chapel, rough coast of the island, Casibari/Ayo rock formation and Oranjestad our capitol city.
