Private & Custom touring in & near Bariloche and Nahuel Huapi National Park is my favorite since the 1995s. Touring is my profession and passion, for first-timers, returners, and locals. I've lived in and around Bariloche since 1990. Originally from Buenos Aires, so I'm a Porteña in Patagonia. Part of my family is English and during my childhood I attended English schools in Buenos Aires. So. . bilingual Spanish English. I have been working as a licensed tour guide in Bariloche Argentina for twenty years. Most often with clients from English-speaking countries. I understand what it takes to satisfy the modern traveler, with their very different needs and interests. This is why I can help to custom-designs to fit client's myriad desires and budgets. Whether you're a photographer, a hiking enthusiast, a vegetarian or a bird-watcher, I can design a tour that is right for you. Learn about our special Argentinian drink "mate", trying the famous "Dulce the Leche" and many more interesting things you'll learn with the experience of talking with a local professional. Whether it's a boat tour to Lake Nahuel Huapi, fishing, horse-riding or kayaking trips around Bariloche or getting into the Rural Patagonia, the real life and the way people have been adapting to living in this geographical areas… I will tailor your tour to be in line with what you want to do and see, making certain that your experience is informative and fun. I love to include in my tours not only information about history, geography, flora and fauna, but also about people, our culture, the food we enjoy and our dreams and desires. I have been working as a licensed professional tour guide for 15 years. My license includes the National Park Nahuel Huapi, the city of Bariloche, the Lake District and the ski resort "Cerro Catedral". I have also worked for the boat trips, specially the catamarans and the tour that connects with Chile "the Crossing of the Lakes". If you can, tell me the time you are planning to visit Bariloche, so i m sure im here! I stared working guiding all over Patagonia and im sometimes away from home! My car can fit up to 2 people comfortably. Please inquire for larger groups. I don't have restrictions in regard to my guiding. I can Guide in Museums, I have a license to give tours in National Park Nahuel Huapi and Arrayanes. I'm also a Licensed driver.

This is an invitation to drive along our roads sharing about the story of what we see. Where you see mountains I see the family that lives there, their history, their every day life. Where you see a forest, I see the type of intereactions in there, their adaptations to the climate in Patagonia. When we drive along the roads we share our local learnings. When we reach this little town called Villa la Angostura (after some picture stops along the way) we will have time to walk along the 4 blocks the center is about. Maybe a coffe stop. . . . After this break in town area we continue to the port that gives name to the town. Along the way get surprised to see the Castle where Isabelita Peron was imprisoned. Visit the lakes around the villa and enjoy the views to the lake Correntoso and Espejo. Learn about the different environments you'll go through: the forest and the steppes. Marvel at the different lakes and its particular colours. See the Andes range of moutains around you all the time.
As its a half day tour we can organize it at the moring or afternoon. We can adapt the timing upon request. Once we meet at the reception of your hotel in Bariloche we head North, cross the Limay river and then to the West along the North shore of lake Nahuel Huapi, where after an hour drive we reach the picturesque village of Villa La Angostura. Along the way we will make some picture stops but once we arrive at the villa we will have time for an hour stop. For visiting local shops and maybe a good coffee with some sweet local pastry! We then continue the road that skirts lakes Nahuel HUapi, visiting also lake Correntoso and the begining of the national park Los Arrayanes. We can adjust the itenerary upon request!
