As-Salaam-Alaikum and Welcome to Abu Dhabi!!!! My name is Aleksandra. I was born in Estonia and in 1998, at age of 16 I have relocated to United Arab Emirates with my parents. At first, I have experienced what is called a "cultural shock", due to growing up in a world of completely different mentality. The religion, traditions and the culture of people who lived here was a new experience for me. Step by step I managed to absorb and to understand those differences and have learned a lot of new aspects that I am ready to share with you. I have witnessed a great transformation of this country with my own eyes. Its mind blowing how quickly this country has grown from a small place mainly consistent of nomadic Bedouin tribes to the leading and modern country in the Middle East. Not to mention the main hub and attraction landmark for tourists from all over the world. In year 2012 I have obtained my first tour guide license issued by Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (Dubai), followed by my second tour guide license issued by Department of Culture and Tourism (Abu Dhabi) in February 2013. Since those times I have worked as a freelance tour guide with a leading tourism companies located in Abu Dhabi, as well as Dubai. Through this time, I have earned good reputation. I have done a tremendous number of tours not only for individuals but also large groups of people, VIP and etc. Earning excellent feedback from both the companies that used to hire me for tours or events as well as guests on my tours.
