Hi! My name is Luís, and I was born and raised in Albufeira, in the heart of the Algarve. I’ve been working in the hospitality industry since I was 18, and since 2017 I’ve been a licensed professional tour guide and travel agent (RNAVT 7283), officially certified by Turismo de Portugal. Being a tour guide has always been my dream — and today I’m proud to share my region with travelers from all over the world. Our day touring about with Luís was great. We were picked up on time and were happy with the itinerary Luís suggested. Off we went to visit some of the most scenic locations on the Algarve in the Albufeira region. After several stops and a few short walks we enjoyed lunch at a restaurant popular with the locals. Luis was a wonderful guide! We wanted to see a wide swath of the Algarve and he was incredibly accommodating. Arrived right on time and we spent 8 hours together - very knowledgeable, provided lots of local insight and also gave us several opportunities to hop out, stretch our legs and spend 30 minutes or so grabbing a coffee and walking around. We had a wonderful private tour with Luis. He was very friendly and a good driver. He took us to some beautiful cliff areas and some smaller fishing villages. He also recommended a nice fish restaurant for lunch.
