I have also led safaris to many destinations in east Africa, including the Maasai Mara, Serengeti, Amboseli, Ngorongoro, Nakuru, Tsavo, Naivasha, Hells Gate, Samburu and Meru National Park. For my second safari with Dunstan and Jeff, I brought my wife along and she loved it! We saw so many animals in so many situations and such large numbers: Zebras, elephants, giraffes, water buffalo, lions, cheetahs, gazelles of all kinds, wildebeest, hippos, crocodiles, ostriches, baboons, and both white and black rhinos. Was traveling solo and needed a guide for Masai Mara who could work with me and stay in my budget. Dunstan was super flexible, and our "driver" Jeff was impressively knowledgeable about animals. Kenya/Tanzania -our guide (Dunstan) was HORRIBLE. Dunstan had no knowledge of animals, people, culture or country-on his phone or slept. No field guide or binos. No help on border crossing, visa check, at drop off, confirm onward travel. Other companies have one driver/guide. With ToursByLocals you pay for two people - salary, room and board.
