My name is Tihana, a licensed local guide and a lifelong Pula local. I have spent my whole life walking these streets, yet this city still finds new ways to surprise me. I suppose that's a good sign; I haven't run out of stories just yet. That's one of the reasons I love what I do. Let me tell you one thing about Pula. Most travelers arrive expecting a Roman city. What they discover instead is a place with more than 3,000 years of continuous reinvention. Roman, Venetian, Austrian, Italian, Yugoslav, Croatian - each era left its mark, shaping the city into what it is today. That makes Pula so special. Every tour reminds me that familiar places never look quite the same through someone else's eyes. Every town in Istria has its own personality, its own rhythm, and its own stories waiting to be discovered. I'd love to introduce you to the people who shaped these places. We'll meet emperors, artists, remarkable women, ordinary neighbours, impossible love stories, and the little details that make a place feel alive. I prefer to keep my groups small. It gives us time to ask questions, wander a little, share conversations, and experience each place together rather than simply walking through it.
