Hi there! I'm Irvin. I'm a local guide from Gjirokastër, and I love sharing my hometown with people from all over the world. Every tour is a little different because every group is different. Some people come for history, some for the views, some for the food... and most quickly realise they can have all three. That's exactly how I like it. I don't believe in rushing from one stop to the next while reciting facts you'll forget before we've reached the next street. I'd rather share the stories behind the places, explain the traditions that are still part of everyday life, and point out the little details that most visitors walk straight past. And if you ask questions, even better , those conversations usually become everyone's favourite part of the tour. The only thing I'll ask from you is a little curiosity and a comfortable pair of shoes. Gjirokastër has many surprises... but flat streets aren't one of them. My goal is simple: by the end of our walk, I hope you'll feel like you've spent time with a local friend rather than followed a guide. I'll tell you the stories, answer your questions, and maybe even teach you a few Albanian words ; whether you remember them afterwards is another story.
