Southern Lake Garda: boat and drive tour
Overview of your Peschiera Del Garda tour
We start the tour in Peschiera, paying homage to this mighty stronghold, a star-shaped fortress which was involved in the Italian Risorgimento and in WW1. A driver takes us to Sirmione, where we visit the village talking about the castle and the thermal spring. After a coffee time, we take a boat tour around the peninsula, after which we cross the lake to go to Punta San Vigilio, seeing the gulf of Garda and several villas from the water. After strolling in the little port, we meet our driver and drive along the eastern shore of the lake. We stop in Garda and Lazise on our way back to Peschiera.
