Experience New Zealand - Kiwi Style: Kia Ora, Welcome to the Port of Tauranga! My name is Patrick, your Tauranga / Rotorua "ToursByLocals" guide and driver. I look forward to meeting and introducing you to the beautiful Bay of Plenty region. I have lived in this area for most of my life, except for a 25 year period where I lived in Auckland before returning to Tauranga 10 years ago. I have seen the Tauranga Port grow from small beginnings to become the biggest Port in New Zealand and Tauranga City become the second fastest-growing city in New Zealand. I know the region like the back of my hand and will explain and show you the many hidden secrets & aspects of our wonderful lifestyle in the Bay of Plenty region including our amazing 3 billion-dollar kiwifruit industry and the reasons people come to live and work here. I became involved with the tourism industry in 2011 as a casual driver for a big tour operator before striking out on my own 5 years ago and have never looked back. As a private tour guide, I am very familiar with New Zealand's rich history including Māori settlement, the arrival of the European settlers and the NZ economy which is part of my commentary. I love answering all of your questions. There's a lot to see and do in NZ's most popular cruise ship Port destination. My private Shore Excursions include Rotorua's volcanic hot spots, erupting geysers, boiling mud, Māori culture, world-famous Hobbiton Movie Set, Waitomo Glow Worm Caves or anywhere you want to go! I am always delighted to tailor my private guided tours to meet your personal preferences. Come and join me, in my air-conditioned 4 seat-passenger mini-coach for an awesome day of photo opportunities, fun, adventure and wonderful memories of your New Zealand visit. I will make your day a great day! Patrick Book your private tour in confidence. My vehicle is safe, air-conditioned, comfortable, clean and has passed a stringent Certificate of Fitness inspection by NZ Transport Authority as safe passenger service vehicles. In addition, I hold an NZ Passenger Service Licence and a first aid certificate to ensure your safety. None
