I was born in Alba, in the heart of the Langhe, and here I live since ever. Spent my childhood hiking and biking these hills, helping the family in the weekends in my grandparents's Estate, picking hazelnuts and harvesting grapes. And Sunday lunch was a family thing, preparing tajarin home made pasta or tasting my wonderful Grandmother's 'minestrone' (vegetable soup) in winter, with a (couple of) spoon of Dolcetto in it. That's what I call 'imprinting! The passion for this unexpected area grew up in years: so many different flavours in different seasons, a tremendous amount of roman and medieval remains, a surprising local 'cuisine' tradition, a scenographic hilly landscape (the 50th Italian UNESCO heritage site), not to mention an all-over-the-world well known wine tradition. And. . . Who loves truffles? I became certified Piedmont tour guide in 2010, certified hiking guide in 2017 and certified bike guide in 2019 (Tic-tae-toe!) so I finally turned my knowledge and passion in a perfect job. Here I am! And my goal is always the same: share with the travellers 'local spots', discovering familiar farmers and cellars! Come to enjoy South Piedmont. Simply a wonderful. Simply unexpected. Local from more then 50yrs ; )) Certified tour guide, hiking guide, biking guide 2yrs Degree in wine tasting (ONAV) I love do this! None

Marcello was an amazing guide and we could not have had a better experience. The region is Marcello's home and as you might expect this is a man who loves his home. His knowledge of the region - the culture, food and of course the wines - is unmatched. We had asked Marcello to take us to three true "gems" on our tour - and he did not disappoint - including an unforgettable meal in the family kitchen with the owner and her mom who made us a fantastic meal to pair with the wines. This is the kind of experience that has become all too rare in many parts of the world. This is one experience you will long treasure. Enjoy!

Marcello was the absolute best. His knowledge of the area made him the perfect guide for our tour. We went to 4 different wineries in a day and even though we had designed our own day at several wineries it was Marcellos suggestion to end our day that made it the most memorable experience ever. In addition to that he's a great driver, great person and a pleasure to be around! We cannot recommend Marcello anymore, 6 out of 5 stars!

What a fabulous day!! If you have the chance to visit this spectacular region do not miss a day out with Marcello! One of the absolute highlights of everyone’s holiday! Marcello met us with the e-bikes at our villa and we rode through the stunning countryside. Fresh air, magnificent views of the vineyards and the surrounding villages perched high upon the hills. We thoroughly enjoyed meeting the wine makers and learning about the exclusive wines of this region at Tenuta Cucco and Costa di Bussia, not to mention the fabulous tastings! The lunch in a local restaurant was delicious. Marcello, you may have had a few concerns about keeping 11 of us on task 🤣 but your good humour, extensive knowledge and passion for your local area made it the most fantastic day. Thanks again!

Marcello introduced us to two wonderful wineries, one in Barolo and one in Barbaresco. We were able to walk around the towns and taste delicious wines, but the best experience was Marcello’s facilitation in meeting the winemakers.

What to say? Marcello was an unbelievably good guide. Very knowledgeable, very funny and very engaging. He took us to wineries that we would never have found without him. Everywhere we visited was very accommodating and generous with their tastings and the wine was excellent. This was a present for my father's 70th birthday and he was so enthusiastic in his gratitude. I highly recommend that anybody thinking of hiring Marcello does exactly that, you will not be disappointed!

Marcello provided a warm welcome and an excellent tour. His passion for his homeland and for life shown through and he made sure our experience was great, despite the foggy, rainy weather we encountered. We enjoyed two wine tastings and a delicious lunch, and we gained insights about local geography, winemaking, and history. Marcello was also very responsive and helpful, going above and beyond to assist in a hunt for a lost item. This was definitely a 5 star experience!
