Assalomu Alaykum! Welcome to Uzbekistan - the Land of Ancient Culture! To start, I want to introduce you about myself and my country. I am a professional Tour Guide qualified to guide throughout the whole Uzbekistan possessing more than 14 years of experience. I am from Tashkent and I live there. Reading is my hobby. I enjoy reading about historical books, interesting legends and nature books. May be my interest was a reason to have highly efficient knowledge about Uzbekistan and its history. Looking at my previous experience, I began my work as a part time tour guide. Then I have held a lot of tour group and personal tourist excursions. Since 2012 I have operated as a multi-tasker guide: a tour guide and driver. During the years I have learnt the subtleties of Tourism. Moreover, I can offer multitasking skills along with an ability to tour and drive along Uzbekistan, reservations for hotels and transportation, to produce tailor-make itineraries for travel to short or long-haul destinations. Uzbekistan is popular for its world-famous historical cities, some of which are included in the World Heritage List. Each city has its own uniqueness and magic. Khiva is an open-air museum, and Bukhara is filled with the ancient architecture of the medieval city, and Samarkand will immerse you in the local culture and traditions. Now about my city. Tashkent is a city with interesting mixture of modern architecture and old buildings. We are famous for entrepreneurship, our foodie culture, our historical vs. verse modern building style and attractive nature. We can imagine Tashkent as a bowl that the city is situated in the middle and mountains are covered it as a border of bowl. I love Tashkent. Taking a trip to Uzbekistan, you can taste national foods, especially, a real Uzbek pilaf, cooked on the basis of a thousand years old recipe. In Uzbekistan, Tourists certainly will be treated with a delicious hot cakes (Uzbek bread) straight from the tandyr. The taste of hot bread, especially in the morning, with qaymaq (fat milk) and sweet tea is familiar to local people since childhood. And what can be better than Uzbek somsa? And where, if not in Uzbekistan, you will encounter a huge variety of dried fruits. Delicious Uzbek cuisine, fruits, nature, beautiful sights and, most importantly, very friendly, hospitable, kind, sincere and nice people will make your trip to Uzbekistan a memorable one. Let's come and explore Uzbekistan with me! *Tour Guide License- awarded by the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Tourism Development. * Driving license-given by Tashkent. * English language certificate- awarded by Wembley language college in London. I do not have any restrictions in regard to my guiding, I can offer a full range of experiences

The Solar Institute of Uzbekistan is one of the most interesting sights in the country! It was built in 1981-1987 which is second in the world, after the first one in France. It is located in the 'Kuyosh' village, Parkent. Architects found here a small area with a powerful natural "foundation", smoothing out the seismic tremors. Heliocomplex stands at an altitude of 1, 050 meters above sea level, but it seems that it is right "under the sky" - because of the Sun here is brighter than even a few kilometers away. The place was chosen due to clear and low-density atmosphere, and 280 sunny days a year. The centre of the complex is so called Solar oven. It look like solar batteries, that are usually matte but these ones are made of mirror. The reflection of the Sun in glass is brighter than the real Sun. The solar oven is essentially a solar cooker. Sometimes people cook their food here, the omelet can be ready in less than half an hour. Take an informative and inspiring excursion to the Solar Institute with me!
In the morning drive to the city of Parkent ( 55 km, 1, 20 min) to visit the Solar Institute of Uzbekistan, really unique Soviet-era scientific laboratory. Upon arrival, tour starts by visiting to the Big Solar Oven, a technical complex with a solar concentrator, a technology tower and a field of heliostats. The heliostat place - special mirrors that work in harmony to create a perfect coating of the concentrator bowl with sunlight. During the tour you will visit: -The heliostat field filled with 62 mirrors; -Museum of Solar Energy: -Hydro meteorological station: The upper observation deck offers a beautiful view of the mountains and Parkent valley. The complex is situated at an altitude of 1100 meters in the foothills of the Tien Shan Mountains, so after a tour of the Sun Solar Complex, you will have free time to enjoy the beauty of nature before returning to Tashkent.
