Mountain Private Tour from Fergana - Two Days

My aim, as a guide, is to let you go through, dive into the realities of life style of the local Uzbek nation. On this tour we will leave the city to explore the unique, peculiar nature of the Ferghana Valley, in a remote mountainous environment at a height of 1500 m and above. It is like to be, as a leisurely caravan of pilgrims slowly rising to pay their tribute to this sacred place where the locals inhabiting these lands for more than two thousand of years, willingly and hospitably meet the long-awaited guests. A picturesque corner, with magnificent mountains, babbling waters of springs that please the soul, aspiring mountain streams, the sound of singing birds, a rich flora and the hospitality of local residents. Besides it is a good chance for those who seek for better understanding of culture including staying in local environment. All this creates such as an incredible impression and unforgettable visit!

Fergana-Axsikent-Chust-Mountains-Fergana Day 1: - Leaving the noisy city, we take the main road and observe irrigation fields full of produce, plus the abundant river of Syrdarya. On the right bank of the river, rises ruins of medieval walls of, at the time, majestic city of Akhsikent (a UNESCO site). - Lunch in a tea house - Secrets of embroidery by craftswomen. Further, road leads us to the mountains. - Acquaintance with the area, a long walk along the towering mountains. - Rest, dinner. - Accommodation in local home or guesthouse (not included in price, we will discuss when you book the tour). Breakfast is included. Day 2: - Breakfast. Slow rise on the mountains, indescribable beauty of nature, mountain stream, pure spring water, rich flora, apricot and nut groves. - A picnic lunch (the food may be bought in Fergana before the tour). - Trekking in the mountains will take almost a day.
