Hello dears, I am Nilufar a local guide in Bukhara of Uzbekistan. I got all my education here in my city Bukhara. I have graduated from Bukhara State University , the faculty of foreign philology . After the University I went to school to work , later I went to school for guides under the Uzbektourism company , studied there for a year and got my guiding certificate . Since 2007 I have been guiding in Bukhara and love, enjoy my work very much. Bukhara from ancient times was a big center of spiritual beauty. That's why you find here Islamic architectures like mosques , madrassahs, minarets, domitories for dervishes where they used to held different discussions to enrich people spiritually. From my childhood I walk in the narrow, labirint streets of my city Bukhara and have a plesent feeling by looking to those architectures from down or from the top of the minarets . From top it looks as if those turquoise domes of mosques and madrassahs connected the sky and the earth. The city still have the mood of traditional living. It is a big tradition in Bukhara to learn a craft from the childhood. That's why when you walk in the city you find a lot of workshops where the youth learn types of craft with big enthusiasm. And they are proud of taking steps of their family members. It teaches them responsibility as well. When you walk through the old part of the city you feel as if you are a hero of the famous fairy tale" 1001 nights". We with great pleasure invite you all to Uzbekistan ! And I am waiting for you in Bukhara to say " Welcome to noble Bukhara!" Hello dear traveller! During this experience, we will feel Bukhara's history, culture, traditions , natura and local people's nowadays life more deeply. I will tell you about the unique architecture, mainly from middle age times, with twice renaissance traces on local, colorful art and craft. Let's talk about the ark fort and "The Great Games" in the Registan square, the importance of the brickwork here, the events that connect the historical buildings' destiny during the Soviet time and until the present. We will walk together through the narrow labyrinth streets of Jewish neighbourhood and visit traditional houses. As I tell you about the last Emirs and the relationship with Russian Tzar, the Emirates' collapse and how life changed after it. During the visit to the village, you will get acquainted with the life there and enjoy cooking classes with the locals. Day 1 ( Duration 5 hrs): - Citadel Ark - Mosque Bolo-Khauz - Mausoleum of Samanids - Chashma Ayub - Complex Poi Kalon - Lunch - Trade Domes 16c - Ulughbek and Abdulazizkhan Madrassahs - Magoki Attari Mosque - Lyabi Khovuz ensemble Day 2 (Duration 4hrs): - Emir's Summer Residence "Sitorai Mokhi-Khosa" - Visit to the Bahouddin Nakshbandi Mausoleum- sufi center - Chor Minor madrassah - Lunch (optional) - Visit house- museum of Fayzulla Khodjaev Day 3 (Duration 5 hrs): Drivet to village and get acquainted with the local's life as well as their activities: baking bread in tandur, make bichak-pastry filled with pumpkin or mashed potatoes, make dumplings, make traditional sweet HALVOI TAR. Lunch is included. Day 4 (Duration 5hrs): we will drive to Karaulbazar district of Bukhara, to visit «Jeyran» nursery - it is an ecological centre - they breed Bukhara deers and sheep which are included in the Red Book By request possible to make this tour customized one. let me know if you like please.
