Overview of your Dubai tour

Dubai has a very rich history, unique culture and social life. Being a local guide, I will narrate you the story of Dubai's evolution, from riding camels to driving Ferrari, and how modern landmarks relate to its history. Experience the local culture in the historical district of Al Fahidi, the oldest residential locality, and know how life was before the oil discovery. Take a ''Sip of Arab hospitality - Gawah'', local coffee at an antique coffee museum. Visit 'Dar Al Nadwa', a cultural house that offers a glimpse into the social fabric of early Emirati life. Cross the Dubai Creek in a traditional boat to get into the narrow alleyways of Deira's Gold and Spice Souk. You will feel the aroma of different spices and incense. Check out shops piled and glazed with gold and awaken your taste buds with local dates and spices. Finally admire the exquisite architecture of Islamic art at Jumeirah grand mosque and learn about the basic insights of Islam.

We had the most wonderful day with Jamshed, showing us all the highlights and famous landmarks of Dubai. He provided us with lots of interesting information and facts, with many photo stops along the way. I cannot recommend Jamshed highly enough, he tailored the tour to our requirements, we enjoyed every minute and felt very special. He also booked our tickets for the attractions that required them. He took us around the Dubai Mall, particularly showing us the waterfall, the ice rink and the aquarium all housed inside. Having grown up in Dubai, he also wore his traditional Kandura and told us what it was like growing up in the city and watching it grow in size, therefore making the tour very personal.

I had the pleasure of booking a personalized tour of Old Dubai, and it was hands-down one of the highlights of our trip. From start to finish, our guide Jamshed delivered a perfect blend of local insight, history, and genuine hospitality. Right from our welcome message, it was clear this wasn’t going to be a cookie-cutter tour. Our guide took the time to ask about our interests — from architecture and markets to food and photography — and custom-built the itinerary around them. We explored the winding alleys of Al Fahidi Historical Neighborhood, learning about the traditions and stories that most visitors miss.
