Marhaba! That's hello in Arabic! I look forward to meeting you in Dubai, showing you around our beautiful city and unveiling our culture! I was born in Kuwait to a Palestinian family! I lived there for a few years before we moved to Cyprus and later Jordan. My family run their travel business and I have been involved in the industry since a young age. It's what I always wanted to do; When I am not travelling myself, I want to spend time with travelers! I moved to Dubai back in 2009 and got my tour guiding license shortly after. A few months later, I was officially guiding people in the city! I find that through my work, I am an ambassador to the Arabic culture that is often misinterpreted. I love sharing my part of the story, a middle eastern woman who knows the ins and outs of our culture, who is proud of a lot aspects, yet who sees herself as a global citizen! Licensed Dubai Tour Guide Licensed Abu Dhabi Tour Guide Dubai Way Training I am not a driver. I can hire a licensed driver and car and will be happy to show you around.

Behind the glitz and glam of Dubai, its state of the art architecture and modern urban development, lies a story. A story that is often untold. This story lies in its old downtown, when Dubai was once a village whose people relied on pearl diving and fishing. Let me take you in a journey of Arabia as it once was. Let's us walk together in the narrow streets, bustling markets and old neighborhoods. We will awaken our senses smelling the spices and traditional scents, taste street food, hear the salesmen calling us to their shops. Our eyes will feast on glittering gold boldly displayed on the windows. In this tour, we will explore the Creek Museum and we will walk through the old souks; the spice, gold and textile souk making our way to my favorite neighborhood, Al Fahidi Historical District, once home to wealthy merchants! This visit is a must for any guest of our city. It gives you a better understanding and completes the whole picture! Yalla!
We start the tour in the historical Shindigha District, visiting the Creek Museum. We then make our way using the traditional water ferries, the Abra, to cross between the two sides of the Creek visiting the bustling souks. We will be walking through the spice souk, a heaven for any culinary enthusiast, the gold souq and the textile souk. We will end our tour in the fabulous Al Fahidi District which has become one of the cultural hubs in our city. We end our tour in one of the most charming restaurants, sharing a traditional meal from the Middle East! This tour can be customized! Please message me and I will be happy to discuss!

- We will be navigating our way through the old streets of Dubai on our feet! -To cross the creek water separating our old souqs, we will be hopping on an abra, a traditional wooden boat. These abras are the oldest modes of transport in the city, if you neglect the camels of course, and they are currently engine operated!
