Overview of your Lviv tour

This tour will introduce You to the rich Jewish history of Lviv from the 14th century. We are attending memorials and active Synagogue, Jewish cultural center. Before WW2 Lviv was very much populated by Jewish people (up to 40% of entire population). Unfortunately, by 1942, the Nazis massacred in Lviv Ghetto 137 000 Jews. During the tour, we shall talk about this tragedy and also about famous Jewish personalities, their lives and contribution to Lviv and World culture.

Your Lviv tour itinerary

Starting from Your hotel or any other suitable place for You we'll get acquainted with the Old Jewish street, the ruins of the Synagogue Golden Rose will proceed to the Ghetto place, Active Synagogue, places which are closely connected with famous Jewish writers, i. e. Sholom Aleichem, the Jewish hospital, the place of the former Jewish cemetery.
