Overview of your Fort Portal tour
Having grown up in Fort Portal and being close to Kibale National Park, the roadside spectators (Baboons) will always give you a warm welcome as you pass through the tarmac road to the park visitors information centre. I personally call it the natural freshener and is one of the parks that will reward your trek with an exciting chimpanzee call as you marvel at how human-like creatures live in the forest as you sight how they swing on top of tree branches. Majority of my past guests that I've taken to the chimpanzee tracking activity cherish nature and always wish to take a forest bath whilst enjoying the primate calls, bird melodies and butterflies. Am flexible and with the guiding experience I've obtained in the past years, am always committed and dedicated to offering the best experience. The Park hosts 13 primate species which makes it the primate zone and a number of mammals. Come see for yourself the true and untouched beauty of nature and the life that flourishes here!
Your Fort Portal tour itinerary
Enjoy a chimpanzee tracking experience in the tropical rain forests of Kibale National Park. You're expected to put on long pants and closed shoes or trekking boots since there are some ants always waiting to feast on your feet. Our trip will start by making sure you have the right gears (Rain jackets if it's a rainy season, bottled drinking water, boots or closed shoes, backpacker to carry). - Departure from Fort Portal to Kibale National Park to the Visitor information centre for briefing and Chimpanzee tracking. - You see chimpanzees, baboons, monkeys and a number of endemic bird species. - Return back to your hotel. After tracking Chimps, I will drive you back to your hotel for dinner and overnight. All my tours can be customized, feel free to contact me with questions, I will answer.
