Day 1: Kairouan & Tozeur * Drive south to Kairouan to visit the Great Mosque and historic UNESCO Medina. * Continue through changing landscapes to Tozeur for an overnight stay. Day 2: Mountain Oases & Sahara Camp * Take a 4×4 Jeep to the Chebika and Tamerza mountain oases. * Go off-road to the Mos Espa (Ong Jemel) Star Wars set. * Cross Chott el Jerid salt lake and pass through Douz. * Overnight in a desert camp at Ksar Ghilane. Day 3: Berber Villages & Matmata * Head into the Dahar mountains to visit cliffside Chenini. * Explore historic granaries (ghorfas) at Ksar Hedada and Ksar El Ferch. * Drive through scenic Toujane to Matmata for overnight. Day 4: Troglodytes, El Jem & Hammamet * Tour subterranean troglodyte homes and Star Wars sites in Matmata. * Visit the massive 3rd-century Roman Amphitheatre of El Jem. * Final drop-off in Hammamet/ Sousse/ Tunis
