I am passionately drawn to urban exploration, seeking out the rich diversity and energy of dynamic lifestyles including city strolls, shopping, and wellness, alongside outdoor adventures like hiking, camping, and scuba diving. Following an intentional career shift, I transitioned into my calling as a professional tour guide¹. In this role, I connect deeply with our history, folklore, traditions, natural parks, and national heritage sites, as I love sharing stories that shape the country's identity. Currently, I hold a nationwide tourism license¹ as an independent guide and local travel specialist, which completely fulfills my true purpose. ✧ Not suited for Bangkok. ✧ Kanchanaburi Province is located to the west of the country. The distance is dependent on each location of the attraction. Generally, the driving distance from Bangkok to the central city is about 130 kilometers. But a few more attractions are located much farther away from the city. To start and end only within the same province is a requirement for this tour pattern. We had an amazing time riding the Death Railway over the River Kwai to the Krasae Cave and then on to Hell Fire Pass such memories. We had an amazing day with Swai . He truly knows the area and we saw everything and then some . He was prompt , knowledgeable and made us laugh . Definitely recommend.
Delightful! Swai is friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable. It is clear he loves sharing his wonderful country with visitors. We couldn't have been happier with this tour!
Swai was excellent, couldn't do enough for us. Everything went so smoothly from the pick-up at the hotel in Bangkok at 6am to our return at 8pm. We visited the DonRak cemetery first then on to the bridge and museum. Later on the train for anhour then had lunch outdoor, really great. Later went on to the Hellfire Pass and museum before returning to Kamchanaburi for a boat ride on the Kwai. A full and tiring day but it was the highlight of the trip. The whole day was exceptional. This was everything I wanted. My goal was to see the area where my father destroyed the wooden Bridge Over the River Kwai in WWII. I also was able to ride over the train tracks the POW's had built. The museum at Hell Fire Pass was amazing. I truly felt I was walking on sacred ground. Swai was an excellent guide and I hope he will be my guide again when I return to Bangkok in August.
