Guiding is not just my profession — it’s my passion. I am a fully licensed official guide in the city of Seville, accredited by the Government of Andalucía, with permission to guide inside all major historical monuments. I hold a Degree in Tourism and have over 20 years of experience working as a professional guide in Andalucía, mainly in Seville, Ronda, and the famous white villages. Over the years, I have lived in Italy, Germany, Belgium, and England, which has shaped my international outlook and deepened my connection with travelers from all over the world. I truly consider myself a traveler at heart. Accompanying visitors through this extraordinary city is a joy for me. Seville is the capital of beauty, tradition, and passion in southern Spain, and my goal is to help you experience it not just as a visitor, but as a local. I love uncovering the hidden stories, legends, and historical details behind Seville’s monuments, while also sharing insights into flamenco, gastronomy, local traditions, and daily life. My tours are relaxed, engaging, and tailored to your interests — whether you love history, culture, food, or simply soaking up the atmosphere. Beyond the tour itself, I always take time to offer personal recommendations: the best local restaurants, trendy shopping areas, flamenco shows, concerts, art exhibitions, and ideas for exploring Seville on your own. If you have more time, I’ll happily suggest day trips to nearby villages and lesser-known gems. Please note: I am not a driver, but I can comfortably accompany you in your own vehicle or arrange a private car and professional driver upon request. Seville is waiting for you — and I would be delighted to guide you through it.

The magic of Maria is not to be missed!! Our tour of Seville was unforgettable, thanks to her grace, depth, and captivating storytelling. With an effortless command of history and culture, she brought the soul of the city to life, tailoring every moment to our interests. One of our most moving visits was the Seville Cathedral, where Maria shared the mysticism of La Virgen de los Reyes—the Virgin Mary holding a rose. Through her words, the rose became a symbol of both suffering and grace, and the centuries of devotion embedded in the cathedral’s stones came alive. Maria’s presence is elegant and luminous, her passion for Seville contagious—from the scent of orange trees to the grandeur of the city’s architecture. She turns history into a living, breathing experience. If you visit Seville, do yourself a favor: tour with Maria. She is truly one of the city’s greatest treasures.

We could not have had a better experience of Seville than the one we had with Maria. We never felt rushed, but managed to see and learn so much in the short time we had: a walk through the old Jewish quarter and the old town, a lengthy visit to the Alcazar and the Cathedral. All of this was delivered with just the right amount of information as she didn't burden us with more that we needed to know. She was lively, fun and very knowledgeable--and very patient when we tried to practise our Spanish. Without reservation, we give her our highest recommendation. Virginia and Rick Walker, Canada

Great tour. Maria was friendly, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic. She responded quickly to messages, and recommended a great alternative when I failed to book one of the sites far enough ahead.

We are a group of 3 couples from the US that have taken a number of tours in different countries over the years. Maria was very well educated, thoughtful, provocative and with a good sense of humor. We all thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Maria and learned so much about the structures, the country, the rich and layered history and its people. We can’t imagine what she could have done differently. Highly recommend Maria L!

Maria was wonderful! She was able to accommodate our last minute booking with limited choices for admission times to the landmarks. She was very knowledgeable and personable. She was also very helpful in advising which restaurants and flamenco show we should visit. We had an extremely pleasant visit to Seville thanks to Maria!
