Seville Fine Arts Museum guided tour

The museum is located in the old monastery of the Our Lady of Mercy, with a very colorful baroque architecture. On this tour we will: -Meet in the Museum Square and enter the building to visit its ground floor. *See the evolution from the medieval works around the Cathedral, until the arrival of the Renaissance. *Visit the work of 17th century masters, highlighting Murillo's possibly best pictorial set, the one made for the main altarpiece and the side chapels of the Capuchin Convent in Seville, located here following the original layout. -Go up to the second floor by the monumental staircase to visit other Baroque masters such as Zurbarán or Valdés Leal. *Visit the rooms dedicated to the 19th and early 20th centuries, when religious themes lose their preminence while other genres such as portrait, landscape or the customary theme are consolidated.
