Hello, my name is Julia and I have been working as a local guide in Seville for more than 20 years, so I know the city very well and I also know how to present it, so that you, who are coming to visit us proably only for a few days, can make the most of your time and have an unforgettable experience. I love to travel, history and above all I love my job, I am passionate about the city of Seville and Andalusia. I deliver fun-filled tours with a balanced combination of humor, history and anecdotes. Seville is not only a city with a vast history, its folklore and gastronomy are also important elements to know and enjoy if you come to visit us. If you come to Seville, I will be more than happy to be your guide!! Here you have some tours, but I can customize a tour for you to meet your needs and expectations. Bike tours, a Cruise along the Guadalquivir River, Olive Oil Tasting, Sherry Wine Tasting, a Walking Tour focus on the Operas Seville has inspired, a visit to the different private palaces, like The Lebrija House (best-paved palace in Europe) or the House of Pontius Pilate. . . and many more options. Just tell me what you are interested in and I'll help you create the right tour for you. - I have studied Tourism and have my official guiding license since 1994. (License Nº 166) - 3 Years of Art History at the Seville University - Olive Oil Tasting Workshop in Basilippo I don't drive myself, but I can arrange transportation upon request

Since 2011 in the middle of the old section of La Encarnación stands a mushroom-like structure, the "Metropol Parasol". It is popularly known as "Las Setas" (the Mushrooms in Spanish) because of its organic shape. Inside a food market , vegetables, fruit, Iberian ham and fish stalls offer us a colorful experience that will allow us to learn about the rich local gastronomy. On the roof a footbridge, from which the city displays itself in an amazing 360º view. Quite an experience to see the whole city at your feet. The "Dueñas Palace", is the house of the powerful, aristocratic Alba family in Seville, a 15th-century palace in Renaissance Style but with an Islamic touch. The late Duchess of Alba, Cayetana, quite a peculiar lady, with a very interesting life loved this house. I like the feeling of peeking in the personal life of the nobility. The bussy shopping district where "Las Setas" and the Palace are located is perfect for a stroll on your own after the tour.
-We start the tour with a walk through the Food Market at Metropol Parasol. -We take the lift in Metropol Parasol to go up to the Footbridge on the roof. - Short walk to Las Dueñas Palace and visit. ** On Sundays the Food Market will not be open, so we can do the tour but skip the Food Market visit. I am more than willing to customize this tour according to your preferences, please contact me for a customized tour.
