As a historian I like to show the monuments of the city but I especially enjoy talking about our local culture. This is Sevilla, so we can talk about soccer, tapas, processions, flamenco, and of course, our wines! I like to visit places that normally are not included in the traditional visitor's circuit. Let me take you to the charming market of Feria Street, a cloister convent where to eat a sweet. The views from the other side of the river are beautiful, specially if you go during the "blue hour". I love to travel all the time. I have been in UK, France, Italy, Egypt, Frech Polynesia, India, Madison Wisconsin, New York City, Germany, Belgium, The Netherlands, Croatia, Portugal, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Cerdeña, Córcega, Sicily, Ireland, Canada, . . . I got married in 2006 and have two beautiful princesses, Elsa (2012) and Emma (2017). History and music are an important part of my life. I am lucky to live in Sevilla but really lucky because my job it is to show you not only the monuments , the gastronomy but specially the soul of Sevilla. Forget about the time, we need no maps, just enjoy as we are in Sevilla! History degree (1993-1998) Official licensed guide since 2001. Manager of a tourist company since 1999. Writer of the book "Semana Santa in Sevilla" (2001)

Our tour will start at your accommodation and here afterward firstly we will start discovering the old city where the locals spend the day. We will be surrounded by locals when wandering the popular shopping area, Sierpes, Tetuán streets and Plaza del Salvador. We will stop in the heart of the city to try a local tapa and a drink, as example our "caña" the colloquial name for the local beer. Time to talk about the culture of Sevilla, gastronomy, flamenco, art and of course football. After this break let's see the remains of the oldest mosque of Sevilla from the 9th century. As a medieval historian, I will give you an introduction of the 2000 years of the rich History of Sevilla. Time to get lost in the charming old jewish section. Intimate district where to imagine how that place inspired the operas Carmen, Fígaro and Don Giovanni. Finally we need to end in the place that made Sevilla the capitol of the Spanish Empire, the river. We will finish by one of the iconic buildings of the city, la Torre del Oro.
-We will start at your place to cover the old city center, -The shopping area for locals, -Plaza del Salvador, -Sierpes street, -Break for a tapa and a drink, -The old jewish area and -The river Guadalquivir. The idea of this tour it is to smell Sevilla from the first time. Thouse are the places we will visit, nice and hidden plazas, beautiful views of the city as the time we walk by the historical river. Sevilla is a city to taste, smell, touch, hear and obviously look at. Our five senses will work this time. *I am more than willing to customize this tour according to your preferences, please contact me for a customized tour.
