Originally from Southern California, I have lived on the Mediterranean island of Mallorca (Majorca) since 1994. I consider myself a local and enjoy showing visitors what I love about Mallorca as though they were my family or best friends. My specialty is visiting the unknown Mallorca, off the beaten path, away from tourist traps. My tours offer more than the usual mass tourism sites, museums, and monuments. I concentrate on a local experience, emphasizing the people, the food, and the smaller places to find hidden treasures for unique experiences and powerful interactions. As I've traveled through Europe, I've noticed that many visitors, especially first-time visitors, don't have the chance to travel outside the capital cities. Come with me to visit Mallorca's specialty wineries, its picturesque markets, beautiful beaches, and coves. Slow down and enjoy my signature tour, "Made in Mallorca. " Visit the workshops of the island's artisans and learn the process of how handcrafted a master luthier makes concert and flamenco guitars. The workshops of contemporary and traditional ceramicists, glassmakers, shoemakers, and many more are open to you. If food and wine are more to your liking, you'll be surprised to know that the island has over 100 wineries! Let's visit a few and pair the wine with a traditional Mallorcan lunch. Visit an olive grove and taste extra virgin olive oil after being pressed. Meet the locals! Much has happened in Mallorca, and it is reflected in the sites, the food, and in the faces of the islanders. This is the Mallorca I would like to show you. Since starting with ToursByLocals in 2012, I've worked closely with US travel agencies, destination management companies, luxury hotels, and cruise ships to show the best of Mallorca to their clients. ** All tours can be customized, and more people can be added to the tours. Add or delete elements as you like. Just message me with your ideas, and I will help you to create a memorable visit. Overview of your Mallorca tour

Ever since 1912, the Sóller railway has been running a daily train service along the 27. 3 km route between Palma and Sóller. This vintage wooden train will take you on a one-hour ride over the Tramuntana Mountains and into the cool Soller Valley. The old town of Soller is typically Mediterranean, with French influences and narrow winding streets. Would you like to try the best ice cream and pastries in town? We will savor ice cream made from sweet Soller oranges, taste sobrasada, Mallorca's favorite pork dish, visit a village shoe factory, and enjoy an authentic Mallorcan lunch. Come with me to discover the best of Soller.

We spent a lovely day with Gina. It was a bit of a damp morning. So we started with a little tour the city, and stopped in for a quick pastry and cafe at Forn Fondo. Delicious!! we then continued on our walking tour towards the old train station. Where we boarded a old wooden train, and took an hour ride to the town of Soller. This town is filled with cuteness and history. Gina was knowledgeable and friendly at all felt very comfortable and grateful that she was our guide. I highly recommend Gina.

Gina was a wonderful guide. An American by birth, there was no problem with understanding her. She was very flexible in the itinerary and was an excellent and careful driver. Her car is small so no more than 3 passengers and if one is tall, no more than 2 passengers.

I highly recommend Gina and this tour! She is so nice and went out of her way to take us to areas that we wanted to visit and was never in a rush. Gina is also an excellent driver through the windy, narrow, mountain roads. We never would have seen the beautiful towns of Fornalutx, Deia, Valdemossa or Soller without taking this tour. Our college age daughter and her friend loved it too! This was one of our top experiences in Spain and the sites were breathtaking!

Gina was WONDERFUL! We really wanted to see the sobrassada factory and the olive oil co-ops but would have never found them without her. She was able to get us all around Soller and into each place, even when obstacles arose. The drive back was beautiful as well. She really went out of her way to make sure we were able to see everything we wanted to and get in some shopping and great food as well. She even offered some great suggestions for the rest of the trip. I was a great experience.
