Later we will visit and tell you the secrets of a surprising hidden cave, excavated by the first inhabitants of the island, a hidden gem that will leave you open-mouthed And we will finish with a visit to a cute hamlet in which you will discover how life happens out of touristic crowds. During the trip, we will offer you a picnic with sandwiches, fruits and local cheese. We will pick you at Las Palmas port and drive to the South East of the island, to discover the famous Barranco de Las Vacas, located in the "Red Canyon" of Gran Canaria. This incredible location offers you the possibility to take amazing pictures. We will take our time to explain you also the nature of the location and how it has evolved during the last 2, 000 years. Our next stop will be to discover a cave settlement that was built 1, 000 years ago by the Ancient Canarians. This involves some easy walking (about 0, 5 miles) through a beautiful landscape located in the midlands of the island. this is a place that is out of the tourist guides, and that only an authentic local guide will be able to show you; in this way we will be able to preserve this place in good condition and avoid massive visits. Finally, we will visit a tiny village in which time seems to have stopped 100 years ago. You will be the only tourist in this place; and you will be able to meet some of the friendly people who live there.
