Hello, my name is Krisztina, a Hungarian girl who decided to move to Córdoba 11 years ago. I first came to study in this beautiful city, but after my graduation I decided to stay working here, choosing it as my new home. During my tours, I always like to say that I hope to show you why I fell in love with this amazing, unique city. I graduated in Tourism with the specialty of Heritage, and have been working for 4 years as an Official Tour Guide authorized by the Council of Andalucía. I really enjoy my job. I like to continue learning a lot and going to conferences as to always provide up to date information in my tours, such as new discoveries about Córdoba and its heritage. As Córdoba has a very rich cultural history, I have carefully studied and prepared my tours about the different religions that would be coexisting for centuries in this area. For me being a guide is the best job ever, and I think loving what you do for a living it makes you feel like it's not a job at all. I like to do my best so you can get to know the city in a knowledgeable way, yet not overwhelmingly, but enjoyably so. I'm flexible, so if you have special requests just let me know and I can organize the best tour tour for you. If you would like to know what makes someone move to Córdoba, while getting to know the city's history, don't hesitate to book my tours. I'm looking forward to meeting you! - Graduated in Tourism from the University of Córdoba - Official Licensed Guide of Andalucia by Junta de Andalucía. - Official Sefardic Tour Guide by the Jewish Quarter Association I am not a driver. I can accompany you in your vehicle or I can arrange for a separate car and driver.

Join me on a 90-minute journey through history and fantasy at the incredible Castle of Almodóvar. I’ll guide you through its ancient towers, secret chambers, and legendary halls — the very same ones featured as Highgarden in Game of Thrones. As we explore this stunning fortress, I’ll share its thousand-year history, tales of knights and kings, and behind-the-scenes stories from the show. We’ll visit the dungeons, armory, and royal rooms, all while enjoying panoramic views of the Andalusian countryside. Whether you're a history buff, a fantasy fan, or just looking for a unique adventure, I promise an unforgettable experience!
1. Entrance & Welcome Introduction to the castle’s origins, from Moorish beginnings through Christian reconquest and restoration. Overview of fortress walls and surroundings. 2. Main Courtyard / Parade Ground Explore the heart of the castle where gatherings and military training took place, highlighting medieval architecture. 3. Keep Tower Throne Room: Learn about noble life and ceremonies, with a nod to Game of Thrones fans as this was Highgarden’s filming location. Rooftop Terrace: Enjoy panoramic views showcasing the castle’s strategic position. Dungeon: Hear tales of prisoners and legends beneath the tower. 4. Wall Walk (Adarve) Walk along the defensive walls, understanding castle defense while taking in stunning views. 5. Other Towers Explore additional towers used for defense and storage, with time for questions. 6. Chapel Visit the chapel and learn about the role of faith in medieval life, admiring its simple beauty.

Calle Castillo, Almodóvar del Río, Andalucía, 14720, Spain
We’ll meet at the castle entrance, next to the ticket office. Visitors can park at the public parking area at the base of the hill. From there, it’s a 10-minute uphill walk to the castle. The path is paved but steep, so comfortable shoes are recommended. On weekends and holidays, a shuttle minibus runs regularly between the parking and entrance. Round-trip fare: €2 per person. I’ll meet you at the main gate to start the tour.
