Overview of your Kosice tour

Slovakia's High Tatras (Vysoké Tatry, in Slovak), one of the most significant national landmarks of Slovakia and highly popular destination for locals and foreign tourists alike, was named as the best 2019 summer destination in Europe by Lonely Planet. In 2020, despite the devastating force of the pandemic, 30 232 visitors were counted in a single day in the high mountain environment of the Tatra National Park, which is almost 14% more than the previous record from four decades ago. Štrbské Mountain-Lake is the most famous and the most visited lake in the High Tatras. It is also a part of the Tatra National Park - TANAP- the oldest national park in Slovakia. The mountain lake is situated in 1346 meters above sea level. The unique vibe which creates the breathtaking panoramic view is something you should be definitely part of. The biggest cross-country skiing area is in Štrbské Pleso and offers 8 professional groomed tracks with the length of 0, 5 to 5 km.

From Kosice it is approximately 90 minutes of driving. Once arrived in nearby parking area next to the lake, we will walk around it and enjoy the nature and natural surroundings of the lake. There are definately so many elements to see and learn. You have to realise: you are discovering one of the most beautiful sites of the country. The Tatras tower - "Tower of Dreams" - the unique attraction built recently just nearby the lake is a perfect chance for those of you who would like to experience the mountain vibes of entire area and get the amazing view to the 7 peaks of High Tatras.
