Upolu Island Adventurist Full Day Tour from Apia

Great way to see the island with a private guide that knows the island. Great stops but remember certain stops you need to pay an entrance fee.

We initially booked this tour with Anthony more than 6 months ahead of the scheduled date. As we got closer to our tour date, Anthony realized that he would be away on holiday and messaged me with the option of having another guide fill in for him. I appreciated that a lot and felt confident that we would still be well taken care of. So, our guide for the day was PJ. PJ did a wonderful job of showing us Upolu Island in Western Samoa. He took us to all of the highlights that we wanted to see - the Robert Louis Stevenson house museum, the Bahai temple and gardens, Immaculate Conception Cathedral, Papapapaitai Waterfall, and Piula Cave Pool. We drove around multiple coasts and stopped at lookouts on the coast and in the mountains. It was much more than we could ever have seen on a ship excursion. PJ was warm and caring, never made us feel rushed, and shared lots of information about the Samoan life and culture. We asked a lot of questions and he answered them all and never made us feel bad that we asked too many questions. It was a great day in Samoa with PJ! We learned so much and saw so many beautiful places! Faafetai Tony and PJ!

Anthony had a family emergency, but made sure we were taken care of and had an amazing day in Samoa. It was a rainy day, but that made no difference because the Island was beautiful. We saw some of the most beautiful waterfalls. But the most amazing place was the beautiful To Sua cave pool. Words and our photos do not show how really beautiful it was. We climbed down into the crystal clear water and swam in this beautiful pool. We visited Piula Cave Pool which was a smaller one and loved all the foliage. Sopoaga Falls were spectacular. We ended our day at a local market. When we returned to the car, they surprised my husband with a Samoa Ula Necklace. Our guide was amazing and showed us the most magically, beautiful places in Samoa with such a personal touch. Highly recommend this tour.

It was a great tour. Our guide reached out a few days before to say he had a medical emergency and had a colleague who could sub for him. He asked if we were comfortable with that, we were and the guide was actually his nephew. He did a fine job. We had a full day and saw a lot of the island

Anthony is a very good tour guide for Samoa, because (a) he is knowledgeable and competent, (b) makes sure that client's interests are being fully met, (c) shows a good sense of humor, (d) as a main chief in his community is well connected and enjoys visible respect by others.
