Sydney is quick to respond and was helpful from my initial contact, he was happy to help arrange a tour that worked for us for my partner’s birthday. He took us to the sites we were interested in, and explained what we were driving past on the way. He was happy to show us round the places we stopped, but also was happy to leave us to our own devices at other times, such as when we explored the local spice market. He arrived on time, his minibus was clean and comfortable, and unlike our airport transfer, we didn’t feel sick after the driving! I’d highly recommend a tour with Sydney, the toursbylocals platform worked well for us too. You’ll see he doesn’t have many reviews on this site, but don’t let that be a concern, his 20+ years as a tour-guide and owner/operator shone through.

We (aged 41 and 51) made this tour with our children (aged 11 and 16) and had a wonderful day with Stefano. He fetched us from the cruise port and at first we drove long time at the coast with wonderful views on the atlantic coast. Stefano was a great guide, told us a lot about country and the locals on our drive and took good care of our family on our way up the volcano and back. We really enjoyed the day and can only recommend a tour with Stefano.
