Rășinari Village Hike & Local Food Experience from Sibiu

Escape the city and discover one of the most authentic villages in Transylvania on a full-day hiking experience combining nature, culture and local gastronomy. We'll leave Sibiu like locals do, using the regular public bus that connects the city with the picturesque mountain village of Rășinari. From here, our hiking adventure begins through forests, rolling meadows and panoramic viewpoints overlooking the Cindrel Mountains and the surrounding countryside. After several hours immersed in nature, we'll visit local producers, where you'll discover traditional Transylvanian flavors. Depending on the season and availability, you'll have the opportunity to taste homemade cheeses, jams, syrups, seasonal fruits, honey, local pastries or other authentic products prepared by families who continue centuries-old traditions. This experience offers much more than a hike: it's a genuine connection with the local community and rural life in Transylvania.
