Hello! My name is Luis Paulo and I have been working as a Tour Guide for 20 years! I have a Bachelor's degree in tourism and a postgraduate degree in Tour Guiding completed in Lisbon. I am a certified guide and authorized to guide tourists in national monuments within Portugal. I believe Walking Tours are the best way to explore a site! Even though, Lisbon is known as the city of 7 hills, it is a pedestrian-friendly city and walking through its streets is not as difficult as it seems. Throughout this itinerary, you will discover famous areas like Chiado (Lisbon's commercial and cultural heart), Baixa Pombalina (effervescent place, completely rebuilt after the great earthquake of 1755), Mouraria & Alfama (Lisbon's oldest and most characteristic neighborhoods). My goal is to give you, at the end of the tour, a more in-depth view of this beautiful city, its stories and main characters. Be welcome!

What a great way to begin to learn the city! Luis was excellent. He met us at our hotel and the tour began. Very knowledgeable about the city, country and overall an excellent guide. He fit on great with our group and even took pics for us. Definitely recommend Louis!
- São Pedro de Alcantara Viewpoint (10 minutes for photos and explanations) - Church of São Roque (10 minutes interior visit) - Carmo Square & Convent (10 minutes for photos and explanations) - Santa Justa Lift (In this part we will go to the top of the elevator, from where we can see another beautiful view of Lisbon - around 10 minutes in total) - Bertrand Bookshop (10 minutes to check-out the oldest bookshop in the world). - Rossio, São Domingos & Figueira Square (around 20 minutes to cover all these sites) - Mouraria (Mourish town) - this neighborhood is located on a hilly area. We will spend around 30 minutes exploring this area. - Alfama (Baths of the Cassii, Cathedral, Roman theater ruins, Santa Luzia and Sun Gate viewpoints). We will spend around 30 minutes exploring this area. *Along this route, you will walk around 3 kilometers, facing a topographic relief from 11 to 69 meters above sea
