***I have a 5 years Degree in Touristic Information followed by a final exam that gave me a National Accreditation to carry a "National Tourist Guide" badge nº33/1058/62 since 2002.**** Hello, adventurers!✨ My name is Ana Sofia, I am a passionate explorer of the world, a friend who takes you by the hand through the vibrant streets of Lisbon with stories that dance in the wind, and a guardian of the best kept secrets that only Portugal can reveal. With more than 21 years of experience, I am pleased to share not only my deep knowledge about the culture, history and natural beauty of the destinations we visit, but also my friendship and a passionate look at the world. On each trip, my goal is to create not just tours, but life experiences; those that leave indelible marks on the soul, awaken sincere smiles and cultivate memories that you will carry with you far beyond the path home. I believe that every destination hides a story to be told, a new friendship to be made and an adventure waiting to be lived. And I'm here to ensure that every moment is unforgettable. As your guide, I promise: - Personalize your experience to suit your interests and desires, ensuring a trip that is as unique as you are. - Provide specialized knowledge and local insights that transform a simple visit into a rich and authentic cultural immersion. - Always be available and attentive to ensure your safety, comfort and satisfaction throughout the journey. If you are looking for more than a tour, but a key to authentic experiences that will enrich your life in unimaginable ways, I am here to open those doors for you. Let's discover the heart and soul of Lisbon together, and create stories that will echo for a lifetime. I look forward to being part of your next big adventure. See you soon! Fondly, Ana Sofia NOTE: A CERTIFIED TOURIST GUIDE has been educated in a higher education level in order to be able to present in an accurate way all the historical facts. Plus when you are toured by a native Portuguese - born and raised in Portugal - you have access to privileged information about being part of this country since time immemorial and we can explain how our parents and grandparents lived and give you deeper input into the evolution of life and culture in Portugal. I have the 5-year University degree from ESHTE (Estoril's School of Tourism) that gives me the credentials and proves my ability as a Licensed Tourist Guide for areas that go from Ethnology, passing by Arts and Aquitecture, Literature, Geography and Nature World, Foreign Languages to Psychology, Law and Economy, Gastronomy, Guidance Pratice and many many others. I am also a member of SNATTI (National Union of Guides, Translators and Interpreters) with nº 4209 and member of AGIC (Association of Portuguese Guides and Tour Leaders) with the number 213. I have worked as Assistant Shore Excursions Manager and Shorex Manager for two international Cruise Ship Companies. I also worked for a Cruise Ship Operator (Ibercruises - that you might encounter when coming with cruise ships to Lisbon), creating new tours/programs I have no restrictions as an Accredited and Licensed Tourist Guide - I am allowed to do guide you inside all monuments all over Portugal. Note that there are “skip the line” tickets only for Tourist Guides like me and operators (like me as well) for the entrance at the National Palace of Pena in Sintra and no other places in Portugal.

Overview of your Lisbon tour

(Tour starts at 9 am or 2 pm. ) Embark on a captivating journey through the heart of Portugal's Age of Discovery with our exclusive walking tour of Belém. Begin with the Majestic Tower of Belém: standing as a testament to the grandeur of Portuguese exploration. Dive into the Discoveries Monument: a striking tribute to the adventurers who put Portugal on the world map. You cannot pass without the visit of the Jeronimos Church (closed Sunday mornings and Mondays), even if we have to queue for 30 minutes. That's the price to pay to visit such a gem. The cloisters are not included. Next stop includes the tasting of the famous Pasteis de Belem (cream custards of Belem - paid locally) - warm and delicious! Finally the unique collection of our Carriages Museum, what a blast! Whether you're a history buff, architecture enthusiast, or simply in love with the beauty of Lisbon, this tour promises memories that will last a lifetime.

Your Lisbon tour itinerary

Tower of Belem Monument of the Discoveries Jeronimos' Monastery Church (Sunday morning only outside visit. Monday closed.) Tasting of the Belem Custards (Pastel de Nata) Carriages Museum (inside visit - paid locally) - note : instead you can visit the Maritime museum. Important fact: if you would like to go inside the cloisters of the monastery of Saint Jerome instead of any of the museums, the tickets need to be purchased ahead of time for the 9.30 am slot - the only one with priority for guided visits. For any other time I would need to tell you the time and there's no entrance priority [a waiting of 45 minutes outside is more than normal]. All costs paid by the guests on the spot.
