Lodz Half Day walking Tour

Lodz is the third biggest city in Poland if we consider population and is located close to Warsaw - about 100 miles. In the 19th century the city experienced rapid growth in the textile industry and in population due to the inflow of migrants. Lodz was very well known for its multinationalism described by Polish Nobel-prize-winning author Wladyslaw Reymont in the novel "Promised Land". After World War I city became one of the most important industrial centers in Europe. During our trip we will discover the unique ghost of the city. We will visit the heart of the city, Piotrkowska street, which is one of the longest, straight roads in Europe. Compared to Krakow, Warsaw or Gdansk, a visit to Lodz will give You a completely different side to the country of Poland Since 2017 Lodz is included in UNESCO Creative Cities Network as a City of Film, which is why I will show You the unique places in the area.
