The ultimate wine experience Travel to the smallest wine region in New Zealand, Waipara. It's weather and soil types offer amazing conditions to produce amazing wines. Our Tours are totally flexible and we try and avoids big groups where possible. Visit at least 2 wineries for tasting only. Sometimes just one vineyard & a lunch. (Time dependent) Our Usual vineyards include Terrace Edge, Georges Road, Greystone and The Boneline. On Tuesday & Wednesday some wineries are closed so limited options are available. Then travel back to the port/hotel
Your Christchurch tour itinerary
Start at Christchurch or Lyttelton Port If starting tour early, there is an OPTIONAL small driving / short stops tour around the city. This costs an extra $100usd paid locally. Most Wineries open at 11am till 4pm Usually we visit at least one winery & a winery restaurant for lunch. Most offer more tastings/wine options at the restaurant if wanted From Lyttelton travel to Waipara 60 mins through Christchurch. Spend time at the vineyards doing a tasting 30 - 60 mins each. It is a short drive between tastings. After the final tasting, winery restaurant for late lunch. I'll work with you to create the day if you want. Otherwise I can arrange the day. Back to Christchurch or Port
