My name is Davaa. I am a father of two and a caring husband. As a Mongolian, my life has always been closely connected to the traditions of nomadic herders and the pastoral way of life that has existed on the Mongolian steppe for hundreds of years. I believe that Mongolia’s history, culture, nature, and nomadic traditions continue to shape who Mongolians are today. I love sharing this meaningful way of life living in harmony with nature, the land, and animals with people from around the world. For me, it is not only my work, but also my passion and my hobby. That is why I have been working in the tourism industry for more than 20 years. I still remember my first journey as a guide as if it were yesterday. What makes guiding so special to me is that my hobby allows me not only to introduce my homeland, but also to meet wonderful people from all over the world. For me, being a guide is about much more than showing travelers beautiful places. I enjoy sharing the stories behind those places their history, the lives of the people who live there, their culture, traditions, and the stories that make each destination meaningful. Every year brings new journeys and new travelers, and each person comes from a different country with their own experiences, perspectives, and way of seeing the world. This is what makes my work so interesting. I learn something from almost every traveler I meet, and I believe that this exchange between people is one of the most rewarding parts of travel. Mongolia is one of the few places in the world perhaps one of the last where a traditional nomadic pastoral lifestyle continues to be an important part of everyday life. I particularly enjoy introducing visitors to our traditional customs and our deep respect for nature and the land, and helping them experience Mongolia through the eyes of a local. For me, travel is not simply about visiting beautiful places. It is about connecting with nature, sharing stories, discovering different ways of life, and appreciating the simple but meaningful moments along the journey. I would be delighted to welcome you to Mongolia and travel with you like a friend, creating a journey that reflects your interests and the way you like to travel. My hope is that when you leave Mongolia, you will take home not only unforgettable memories, but also a deeper understanding of our country, our people, and the nomadic spirit that continues to shape Mongolia today.
