Let me introduce myself by telling you that I am a certified tourist guide (from SECTUR the tourism national Department ) eager to show the wonderful places, history, customs, art crafts and the delicious food of my hometown. I was born and raised in Mexico City and there are amazing places that we can visit; if you are looking for history, archeological sites, food, typical arts and crafts, you are in the right place. I've had the opportunity to guide travel in Mexico City and many other states within the country. Mexico has much history worth knowing; such as the prehispanic, colonial and contemporary eras. Teotihuacán is one of my favorite places to visit, since it's the core of the Mesoamerican cultures. We'll visit places where you'll fully understand why that city became one of the most important cities during the Classic Period. I love guide traveling because it gives me the opportunity of meeting new people. I can assure you that I will do my best in order to make of any of my tours not only places where you will learn about history but experiences you will remember for ever. I'm flexible to each visitor's requirements. I believe this job is constantly changing as it implies new information and discoveries, hence, I like keeping myself up to date with conferences and seminars. Located amidst the Chapultepec woods this tour is one of my favourite ones. I love to show our visitors why Mexico City is definitely a place you cannot miss. I will take you first to the Chapultepec Castle. This Castle is not an ordinary one. Let me show you why... Did you know that in this very place where water was abundant, many inhabitants of the Basin of Mexico found the perfect place to live? Later on, it was occupied by the Cadets school to become later the palace of the Second Empire of Mexico leaded by Maximilian of Habsburg, and his ephemeral empire. I am passionate about his short kingdom in Mexico and its tragic end. Up to the present time this castle houses a wonderful museum. I am sure that at the end of our visit you will have a better idea of the history of my country. Let yourself be captivated by the beauty of Paseo de la Reforma Avenue and its unique sculptures.
Alicia is an excellent tour guide. She has an almost encyclopedic knowledge about the places we visited. Most impressive was her ability to modify our tour on the fly when she learned we had already visited some of the sites in her original itinerary. Highly recommend.

Alicia is an amazing tour guide! My family did a tour with Alicia to the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe and Chapultepec Castle. She was professional, knowledgeable of Mexican history, and we felt safe with her at all times. Being my first time in Mexico City, I wasn't sure what to expect, but it certainly exceeded my expectations. I would definitely be going back and will hire Alicia without a doubt.
Alicia was a great guide on this custom tour of Chapultepec Park. She planned our visit so that I could take lots of photos & she provided high quality information about the interesting history of the park & castle. We also drove around some nice neighborhoods in the vicinity, so that I could get a good idea of this part of Mexico City. Alicia speaks perfect English & has an engaging personality. She is prepared, flexible & client-oriented. Her automobile is comfortable & she is a safe driver.
We were very happy with Alicia. She was our guide for 5 days. Everyone enjoyed her company. She provided her own vehicle which was a very big plus. Her English was very good. She guided us through all the main tourist attractions but was very flexible on scheduling. We easily communicated with her through text. We were worn our every day but anxious to go the next day. I am happy to recommend her.
