Harbour Cruise On A Traditional Luzzu With Maltese Snacks and Drinks Under The Setting Sun! Valletta is surrounded by two of the the largest harbours in the Mediterranean and has seen so much history, battles and beautiful forts being built. Many claim that the Grand Harbour rivals that of Venice. Join me on a cruise around the magnificent Grand Harbour and Marsamxett Harbour with the imposing fortifications and architecture as a backdrop, where the mighty Ottoman Empire brought their battleships in the 16th century. The Luzzu is a comfortable and traditional multi-coloured fishing boat, which has been used over centuries in the local waters. Maltese snacks and premium wine, beer and soft drinks are included during this two hours cruise enjoying the honeycomb colours of the local limestone used.
Your Valletta tour itinerary
Meet by the designated location for a short stroll to the Luzzu boat, where we will be met by Captain Jason, who will take us around the two Harbours whilst listening to a detailed explanation for the various historical points with explanations of the it's sometimes harrowing history during the Great Siege of 1565 and the WWII. During this trip under the setting sun, we will enjoy a choice of premium Maltese wine, beer, soda and water together with some typical Maltese snacks.
