Hi, I am Victoria and a licensed tourist guide. I am Maltese, born and bred here and I love these islands with a passion. There is no better way than to explore your way around with a local guide. I had the pleasure to guide the heads of state, during the 19th Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) held in Malta in 2005. Please message me before you make a booking. While touring around our beautiful islands visitors enjoy discovering the unknown and savouring the local traditional food. Join me on this captivating journey on foot and by boat around Malta's major highlights. Marsaxlokk is a small laid back fishing village famous for the local market where stalls are set up on daily basis. Its coastline is surrounded by the traditional and colourful fishing boats called 'Luzzu" Vittoriosa also known as Birgu is one of the well known 'Three Cities' which attribute their charm to the Knights of St. John of Jerusalem. A city older than the other. The stories of the harbour and the winding streets take you back in time, yet have been kept alive by our local traditions, food and culture.
Your Valletta tour itinerary
9. 00 - Pick up point (to be discussed). * We proceed with the driver towards Marsaxlokk and you have some free time to explore the market and to take photos of the colourful fishing boats. *We drive to Vittoriosa for a walking tour of this old and historical city. We stroll past ancient gate ways, Auberges, the Inquisitor's Palace, churches and more. *We have a break in a typical restaurant famous for their Maltese platters offering various food delicacies including traditional sweets and a glass of wine. *We visit a traditional gift shop popular for their edible souvenirs (local cheese, sweets, liquors) and various ornaments. *Finally we board a 'dghajsa' for a mini boat ride to explore the three cities of Vittoriosa, Senglea and Cospicua from out at sea. 13. 00 - Drop off point (to be discussed) PLEASE NOTE : THIS TOUR CAN START FROM THE VALLETTA PORT TO VITTORIOSA, THEN TO MARSAXLOKK
