As an individual, I am interested in most everything that is related to art, culture, history (both yours and mine!) and the human psyche. My friends call me quirky for the range of interest I engage in. I hike, backpack, juggle, read and do a range of stuff that catches my fancy =D I usually feel at my best when it comes to sharing and learning. I'm an avid traveller with experiences of travelling, working and living abroad in Asia, North and South America. Hoping to hit at the very least half of the 196 countries before I shuck off my mortal coils. As a guide, I have a deep passion for culture, present lifestyle as well as history both mine and yours (where ever it is that you hail from!) and if there is a place in Malaysia where I could specialize or recommend a visit, it would be my hometown - the (600 years!) historical city of Malacca where it all begins! While I specialized in Malacca, I am also available for heritage tours of Kuala Lumpur for it is I would say the birthplace of modern-day Malaysia particularly in terms of economics and governance. Please do inquire should you be interested to have me as your guide in other cities/ locations in Malaysia as each city is uniquely rich in their respective local flavour! I am an English language city guide accredited by the Malaysian Ministry of Tourism. A Bachelor of Psychology graduate who ran from the comforts of an MNC company to be a freelancer in tourism :) A member of the Kuala Lumpur tour guide association (KLTGA) which stipulates ongoing tourism knowledge training as a requirement for license renewal and an former docent at the National Museum. I have also been accepted into a scholarship program as part of a tourism exchange to study Spanish in Colombia for 4 months in 2016 of which I managed to extend my stay to realize a childhood dream of visiting Macchu Picchu and the Nazca lines in Peru.

Historically a port city famed for it's assortment of spices, UNESCO Melaka known as the land where the winds meet, has a colorful history spanning over 600 years from it's founding in the 14th century to the centuries of colonization by the Portugese, Dutch and the British. Come explore with me the unique wealth of architectural, religious and cultural legacies that were assimilated and adapted to a melting pot of Asian cultures! As echoed in the words of our first prime minister, whom in Malacca, first unveiled the successful negotiation of our nation's independence "within the ruins of the Malacca fort, we shall build a new nation!" What better way to know this city, the cradle of modern Malaysia, than to have your very own local born show you around! Growing up in this historical city comes with it's perks! The best way to see the old city is on foot. Sights are within 50m from each other and the length of the walk is a around 3km (2miles). Please inquire for alternative arrangements/customizations! :)
