Explore Nosy Be Island your way

At ToursByLocals, we believe that how you explore is just as important as where you go. That’s why every Nosy Be Island tour is private, flexible, and built around you: Move at your own pace, skip the crowds, make connections and follow your curiosity. Find local guides offering private tours in Nosy Be Island for every interest, including:

Nature and Wildlife tours: paddle a canoe to Lokobe Reserve and hike under ylang-ylang trees to find black lemurs, leaf-tailed geckos, and tiny chameleons. At sunset, drive to Mont Passot for crater-lake views as herons settle in.

Boat tours: join island-hopping tours to Nosy Tanikely Marine Reserve for snorkelling with turtles and to Nosy Komba for lemur encounters and a village craft market. In season, head out by speedboat to look for whale sharks with a trained spotter.

Adventure tours: dive volcanic reefs off Andilana or try a PADI discover dive, then swap fins for a quad-bike ride along red-dirt tracks to remote beaches. Your guide can mix a short spice-farm visit with a coastal hike to a small fishing hamlet.

Hell-Ville and some beaches are walkable, but distances are long and there’s no true public transit beyond taxis and tuk-tuks. Ask your guide about tours with private transportation or a chauffeured vehicle between docks and trailheads.

This isn’t a one-size-fits-all itinerary, you can tailor your private tour to match your interests, pace and personality with a local who knows Nosy Be Island inside and out.
