Hello! I am John. I am a fully licensed national naturalist guide, based in Morondava, with over 15 years of experience as a field guide and research assistant. My career is built on a deep passion for Madagascar's unique natural and cultural heritage. I graduated from the Languages Institute with a specialization in eco-tourism and continue to expand my knowledge so I can provide guests with accurate, up-to-date insights throughout their journey. Alongside guiding, I work as an English teacher and in museum interpretation, experiences that have strengthened my ability to connect international travelers with Madagascar's fascinating history, traditions, and way of life. Whether you're interested in discovering our extraordinary wildlife and endemic plants or exploring the island on a tailor-made multi-day journey, I specialize in designing and leading fully customized itineraries that match your interests, pace, and travel style. From planning every detail of your itinerary to helping you spot Madagascar's remarkable wildlife, my goal is to provide a safe, well-organized, and truly authentic Malagasy experience. Let's create an unforgettable journey together!
