Hello, and welcome to Shikoku! I am an experienced tour guide with over 20 years of experience. I offer various tours mainly in Kochi, covering the whole Shikoku region, including Kagawa, Tokushima, and Ehime. I have guided customers from all over the world, some of whom have become long-time friends and still keep in touch. Many clients even introduce me to their friends. I worked at a Tourist Information Center and a travel company for over 10 years. I am married and a mother of an 11-year-old child. I also have experience guiding Japanese tourists in Australia. During my tours, I prioritize making you feel relaxed and comfortable, avoiding the rush typical of large coach tours. Please take your time! If you find a shop or spot during the tour that you’d like to visit, that’s definitely fine—I’ll happily adjust the pace. My hobbies and interests include visiting gardens and art museums, enjoying super onsen hot springs, dining out, savoring sake and beers at izakaya Japanese pubs with friends, singing karaoke, practicing yoga, meditation, and mindfulness, exploring Chinese medical cuisine, and cooking—especially traditional Japanese sweets. I even offer Japanese sweets-making classes! I am also studying new languages, including Chinese and French, as well as programming. By the way, I created this website from scratch myself. I enjoy watching Netflix anime, with recent favorites like “Mashle,” “Haikyu!!,” and “Demon Slayer.” Legendary works for me include “Ghost in the Shell” and Hayao Miyazaki’s films. I also love reading manga (recent favorite: “Frieren”), reading books, playing the piano, and listening to music ranging from Japanese pop like YOASOBI to Bruno Mars, Ed Sheeran, and jazz. TV series I enjoy include “Sherlock” (BBC) and “Grey’s Anatomy.” Talking with new people is my calling, which is why being a tour guide for international visitors is a perfect fit. I hope to continue providing wonderful tours that bring joy and unforgettable memories to you!
