The Heart of Ancient Rome: Colosseum Full Experience (W/Arena optional)

Ciao! My name is Sara. I was born in Rome and I'm an art historian. Immediately after graduating, I worked as a librarian in a library specializing in environmental issues, and then I gained experience at the historical archive of the Galleria Nazionale di Arte Moderna in Rome. I've been working as a tour guide for 16 years in this beautiful ancient city, having the privilege of leading groups or individual visitors, children and adults alike, through the most beautiful places of Rome, whose secrets I intimately know. Whether exploring the most famous of places, such as the Colosseum, known for the legendary protagonists of its showdowns, the Roman Forum which hosted daily activities in ancient Rome, the Trevi Fountain or Piazza Navona, I can share untold stories of the architects who were involved in these landmarks and are responsible for the scenic backdrop in Rome. But beyond the classic sites, I honestly love working in lesser-known places, such as small or almost hidden museums, getting lost amidst the pinewoods, or exploring an art pinacoteques. I also love shedding light in small details in a Baroque canvas, or identifying the technical expertise of the Renaissance artists in a statuary. I am drawn to art in many different forms, including movies and music. I am the mother of two young men, and for a long time, I have worked with children offering educational workshops in museums and archaeological sites. I've also focused on teaching art to people with disabilities, and I'm currently specializing in art therapy. Don't hesitate to contact me, I look forward to meeting you!
