In this tour, I will give you a unique experience of Ragusa and its countryside. We'll arrive in the town of Ragusa Hybla after a relaxing trekking in the Canyon of Misericordia. The canyons are the geological feature of the Ragusa countryside made of limestone rock. These canyons usually are an explosion of life because there is a microhabitat, perfect for flora and fauna. When I was young, I used to pick up aromatic plants in these canyons with my father, so for me, it will be a pleasure and an honor to share my knowledge with you! We'll walk along a clear stream and springs but, in addition to the naturalistic features, we'll admire also the presence of human beings during the centuries as the little water channels for watermills and an ex Covent for hermits. After the naturalistic walking, we'll arrive at the baroque town of Ragusa Hybla and I'll guide you to discover the most famous monuments of this charming town and the most hidden spots to have a complete experience of Ragusa!

Attractions in the Canyon of Misericordia: (trekking) - Canyon with the stream - Water channels - Water Mills - Covent for heremits (18th century) In Ragusa Hybla we'll admire many churches and noble palaces, above all: - Palazzo della Cancelleria - Palazzo Cosentini - Dome of San Giorgio - Piazza Duomo - Chiesa di San Giuseppe - Medieval Portal of San Giorgio - Giardino Ibleo (public garden) When we finish the tour there will be a taxi that will drive us back to the starting point.
